We've been trying to make new friends!
At this point it was quite a while ago, but we have actually made our way over to the Oregon Zoo. The clear cut winners were the otters (both sea and river) with second place going to the perennial favorites: the polar bears. The PBs got a point taken off for scaring the bejeezus out of us when one reached right down through the ceiling trying to snag a child like a fish. Otters got full marks for doing front flips, swimming upside down, and holding things on their chests..plus yawning. Otter yawns look ridiculous.
